今年も「サーフタウンフェスタ」開催！
今年で15回目の開催を迎えるサーフタウンフェスタは太東ビーチパークで本日、５月１８日（金）から２７日（日）まで開催しています。
毎年開催される地域に根付いたサーフイベントに成長し今年は、オリンピック開催地域として積極的にアピールするイベントになるようだ。
地域振興・発展・掲載活動の促進を図ると共に海岸レジャーの安全向上のための啓蒙も促進するイベントとなっている。
２０２０年の東京オリンピック正式種目に決定したサーフィンを音楽で応援するプロジェクト「～Surf in MUSIC～」の全面協力で、5/19(土)に太東ビーチパーク特設ステージで海そしてサーフシーンを愛するアーティスト達によるコンセプトチーム「波音組(はねぐみ) -Surf Music Lovers-」のライブが開催される。
いすみ市ならではの「食・文化」をテーマにしたブース、20(日)にはフラ、ヒップホップや太鼓などのステージイベント、音楽ライブ他、ビーチイベント「SOTOBO BEACH SPORTS FESTA」と共催！
日本プロボディーボード連盟 2018年ツアー第１戦「美黒 ISUMI OPEN」や
日本プロサーフィン連盟 特別編「OSHMAN’S STYLE MASTERS 2018」、JPSAジャパンプロサーフィンツアー2018 ロングボード第2戦「太東ロングボードプロ」等も開催され盛りだくさんの2週間となる。
