シングルフィンの大会「OSHMAN’S STYLE MASTERS」開催！

一般社団法人日本プロサーフィン連盟（JPSA）は特別戦として「OSHMAN’S STYLE MASTERS」を5月20日（日）に千葉県いすみ市太東海岸で開催します。

この大会は通常のJPSAロングボードツアー戦からスピンオフした形で2010年からスタートしているこだわりの１戦。

通常のツアー戦とはルールも特別な試合で、ボードのレギュレーションが長さ9’4”（284cm）以上（通常は9’00”以上）で、フィンはシングルフィン限定。しかも、コンセプトがシングルで削られたボードでなければいけない。（２＋１仕様のボードでサイドフィンを外して使用することはできない）
採点基準も近年のコンペシーンでのハイパフォーマンスなマニューバーの評価ではなく、クラシックなスタイルを評価する基準。海外のダクトテープのようなコンテストだ。

参加選手もJPSA上位選手のほか、ツアーをフォローしていないがスタイリッシュなライディングが評判のシングルフィンマスターが国内外問わず招待されている。

これぞロングボードというライディングが観れるコンテストとなることは間違いなし。
