クールビズからトランクス・ビズへ。熱帯化する日本
熱帯化する日本は、そろそろ「トランクス」が必要なのではないのだろうか。
会社を発足して間もない2014年5月から、この“トランクス”というアイテムを作っていくべくリアルなプロダクトアウトが本格化して、BLUERはメディア事業のみならず、リアルなブランド事業を展開させることを決めた。
といってもBLUERはアパレル会社などと思っておらず【海山レジャー産業の活性化】をテーマとする会社。
トランクスは海で使用するユニフォームのようなものだから、トランクスが売れる＝水辺レジャー産業の拡大に繋がると信じ、多くの人に履いていただき需要を拡大させる展開をして、今年で5年目。このトランクスも年々進化して品質も需要も、かなり右肩上がりに向上している。
そんな中。このトランクスという『海のナレッジ（知見・知識・英知）』を社会に還元できるのではないか、と昨年より開始したのが「トランクス・ビズ」。
熱帯化している日本で、真夏に長ズボンを履いて会社にいくのはかなり辛い。
環境省のクールビズは、そろそろ次のステージに行ってもいいのではないのか？ と、トップスだけでなくボトムスを短くしたらどう？ という提案をしていこうと昨年より取り組みを始動させた。
まったく新しい取り組みだけれど、よりリラックスして、気分よく仕事できた方がいいじゃない？
BLUERのトランクスへの取り組みは、今後もつづく。
